Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All
By no means am I a "star-gazer". Most times I cannot identify celebrities one from another. If I came face-to-face with most celebrities, I'd never know it. However, I must say that in a world where people like to consider the "primal", "natural", "crunchy" mom as the oddball, it's nice when they see a "normal" person who brings to light the truths that we already know. Jenny McCarthy has been such a person.
If you've not kept up (and most have I think) she has spent much time and energy bringing the problems of vaccines and autism to the public view. This is a good thing. By no means will she change the world, but she has helped countless people to see the truth and has been a great support to those with children suffering vaccine-related autism.
If you've not read her book, Mother Warriors: A Nation of Parents Healing Autism Against All , I definitely recommend it. Whether you're doing research into vaccines so that you can make an informed decision; you've clearly made up your mind to vaccinate or not to vaccinate, or you are one of the many with an autistic child.. read this book.
In this book, Jenny McCarthy shares her journey as an advocate, but the book isn't about her. This book is full of stories of hope from other mothers who are on the journey to recovery with their children. It is inspirational and brings hope to those who may be feeling hopeless.
